The 35th anniversary of Barlinek, a respected manufacturer of wooden floorings, commenced with a promotional campaign that took its magazine readers back to the days of the Iron Curtain. The publishers wanted to take on the idea of authenticity and refocus on the seventies, when Barlinek was born. Kronika Barlinecka is comparable to the major newspaper published by the Polish People’s Republic when in power between the years of 1952 and 1989. They are similar in form, content and even take on specific language indicative of the Republic’s communist propaganda. With 16 pages of content, Kronika Barlinecka allows people to experience the birth of Barlinek, all the talk, the gossip and the pride that went along with it. Kronika Barlinecka is distributed via various channels, including an insertion in the Polish newspaper’s Saturday issue. Circulation: 600,000.
